A sculptural handmade whale shark, sized to carry your phone. The mouth opening is wide enough for large phones, there is a card pocket inside the belly, and the remoras double as strap attachments so it can be worn crossbody or over one shoulder.

Design Story
The Whale Shark Purse began with the Whale Shark Glasses Case. Inspired by Isabella and her love of whale sharks, it transformed the gentle ocean giant into a practical companion for glasses, pens, and small essentials.
Since September 2023, many people have asked me to create a larger version for their phones. At the time, I was doing everything alone and was not ready to take on such a complicated design. After my wife began helping with the business, I finally had time to develop the idea.
I knew the biggest challenge would be fitting large phones such as the iPhone 17 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S25/S26 Ultra. The mouth opening had to be much wider than the phone, yet still comfortable for most people to pull open using their thumb and middle finger.
I also had to enlarge the head and body without losing the whale shark's proportions or making the finished purse too bulky. After many prototypes and adjustments, I finally found the right balance.
I then added a card pocket inside the belly and turned the remoras into functional strap attachments, allowing the purse to be carried as a crossbody or one-shoulder bag.
An idea first requested in 2023 has finally come to life. I hope you love it!

Materials & Natural Variations
Every piece of leather has its own grain and natural markings, so slight variations are part of the character of each handmade whale shark. Light-coloured and white leather may show natural variations more clearly. Colour may also appear slightly different depending on lighting and screen settings.
